Equiano Project
This project explored the inspiring life of Olaudah Equiano, an African writer whose experiences as a slave prompted him to become involved in the British abolition movement.

I worked at the Birmingham West Youth Offending Team with young people to create work for an exhibition at Soho House, Birmingham, and to be part of the main exhibition at the Gas Hall Birmingham.

The main work produced for the exhibition was a series of suits inspired by Equiano's life and relevant to the young people today exploring issues of identity, gang culture, money and freedom.
